My passion for administration and office management started young, when my Dad, who ran his own business, would have me answering phones for him or helping him with filing. Once I had my first Saturday job, my wages would regularly be splurged at the local stationary shop and I'm not ashamed to admit I still have a deep love for pens and notebooks!
Having recently made a move to Birmingham from London, I have a lovely home office that overlooks my garden. From this setting, I can connect with clients and customers around the UK and internationally via Skype, Dropbox and other apps, so no matter where you are based, I can be flexible with modes of contact and even time differences.
Having worked in London for over 10 years, I've held a variety of management and leadership positions and have experience working for both large and small companies, ranging from a luxury brand, the NHS and the British Transport Police to a tech startup and a successful market research business. Across these roles, I have been responsible for finance, HR and customer care as well as project coordination, office management and event management. In addition, I am particularly strong at content creation and have solid experience in HTML.
